How to create an interactive inventory map

Learn how to build and publish a fully interactive inventory map in MapBhoomi. This step-by-step guide walks you through configuration, drawing, and sharing.

Phase 1: Project Setup and configuration

Create a dedicated workspace project. Set up measurement metrics (e.g. sq ft, sq meters) and define the status stages that match your sales process (e.g., Available, Hold, Sold).

Phase 2: Populate your inventory database

Prepare a list of your units. You can import records in bulk using a standard CSV file containing columns for unit numbers, locations, and stages, or add them manually in the dashboard.

Phase 3: Draw visual unit polygons

Upload a site plan or blueprint image to Map Studio. Use our editor tools to draw boundary shapes on top of the layout and associate each vector with its matching database unit number.

Phase 4: Publish and share layout

Review the layout in preview mode to confirm all polygons align correctly. Click publish to generate secure, shareable public links and iframe code snippets for website embedding.
